Hi there, thanks for visiting.I'm Jayden and currently living in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. Before moving to the Netherlands, I was living in the historic capital city of Japan, Kyoto.
I started this blog to share my love for cooking and also to kill some time while I'm spending more time at home during this pandemic. After moving to the Netherlands, I've been missing a taste of home. A lot of what I cook nowadays is to appease my taste buds' nostalgia. Not everything is readily available here so I had to be creative with finding substitutes.
I'll be writing about recipes that remind me of home, food I've perfected over the years, and experiments I've been conducting recently. I draw my inspirations from Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian cultures. You can find some of my creations below. I'm hoping to start my own bakery one day. Currently, baking casually for friends. Feel free to contact me if you see something you like. Maybe we can work something out.
